Job summary

Ohio Gratings, Inc. is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and operational analysis across manufacturing, accounting, sales, and procurement.

Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide timely financial information and insights that inform decision making. The ideal candidate has a solid finance foundation, preferably in manufacturing, with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long‑term financial plans.
• Support development and maintenance of financial models for forecasting and planning.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and dashboards for leadership review.
• Assist with cash forecasting and analysis of results.
• Support budget owners with information gathering and submissions.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations to analyze production costs, inventory, and labor efficiency.
• Develop and track KPIs and support ad hoc analyses for capital expenditures, pricing, and initiatives.
