Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. seeks a Finance & Regulatory Analyst in the WVMD Business Unit to partner with leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of O&M and capital, ensuring alignment with FE Corp expectations.

The role emphasizes strong technical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and timely, accurate reporting, including support for regulatory filings and leadership presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related discipline required.
• Advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 4 years' relevant experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of O&M, Capital.
• Strong cross-organizational collaboration and relationship-building.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain budget and forecasts for the Business Unit including O&M and capital.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to drive accountability for results.
• Prepare detailed analyses of actual vs budget and forecast.
• Assist in presentations to Business Unit leadership.
• Support financial and regulatory filings.
• Perform account reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Ensure alignment of Business Unit goals with corporate expectations.
