Job summary

KAISER in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst II to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The role collaborates across departments to prepare regular and special financial reports and to assess financial performance.

The candidate will assist with audits, develop what-if scenarios, and analyze trends to inform regional and department budgets. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of healthcare finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field OR minimum three (3) years financial planning and/or data analysis experience.
• Two (2) years experience with intermediate spreadsheet functions (e.g., Excel): filtering, pivot tables, linking workbooks.
• Two (2) years experience working with KP data sources or tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports financial planning and analysis by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Assists with audit preparation and financial reporting; supports management with regular and special reports.
• Conducts financial analyses (cash flow, pro forma P&L, variance analysis) to aid decision making.
• Produces and evaluates financial trend information and operating performance reports for regional leaders.
• Supports cross-functional teams and leadership meetings to review financial results and strategic initiatives.
