Job summary

East West Hospitality is seeking an FP&A Analyst in Colorado to partner with the CFO on financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives across our hotel, resort, and property management operations.

The role focuses on building financial models, evaluating investments, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. Requires 2+ years FP&A in lodging, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of FP&A experience supporting hotel operations, resorts, vacation rental management, or lodging-related businesses.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint, data warehouses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Analyze financial results, variances, margins, and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.
• Evaluate investments, capital projects, and new opportunities through financial modeling and market research.
• Assess revenue, expenses, operating performance, and profitability across hotel and residential portfolio.
• Work with CFO to evaluate business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for clear financial insights and Board updates.

East West Hospitality is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to work directly with our CFO on financial planning, portfolio performance, and strategic business decisions across our diverse operations, including hotels, resorts, vacation rental management, residential property management, and homeowners associations.

This role goes beyond reporting results. You will analyze financial and operational performance, evaluate investments and new business opportunities, and translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. We are looking for someone with FP&A experience supporting hotels, resorts, vacation rental management, or similar lodging-related businesses who brings strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and a curiosity for understanding what drives business performance.

What You Will Do Includes:

• Build and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Analyze financial results, variances, margins, and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Evaluate proposed investments, capital projects, business initiatives, and new opportunities through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and market research
• Assess revenue, expenses, operating performance, and profitability across East West Hospitality's hotel and residential portfolio

Business Performance & Strategic Support

• Work directly with the CFO to evaluate business opportunities, financial proposals, and strategic initiatives
• Partner with business leaders to identify cost efficiencies, improve operating performance, and monitor key financial metrics
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools that make financial results easier to understand and act on
• Prepare financial analyses and recommendations for senior leadership decisions, Board presentations, and investor updates
• Review monthly hotel financial results and HOA Board packages for accuracy and completeness before external distribution
• Deliver clear, timely reporting that explains financial variances, emerging trends, and potential implications
• Analyze vendor proposals, leases, rental management agreements, hotel management agreements, governing documents, and other contracts to assess financial terms and business impacts

Start Date: As soon as possible

Pay Rate : $90,000 - $110,000 DOE
