Job summary

Trustmark is hiring an FP&A professional to conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI development. The role may be filled at Level I or II with expanded responsibilities for senior contributions.

The candidate will build financial models, prepare monthly reviews, and automate reporting using Excel, Power BI, OBIEE, and other FP tools, while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 1+ years FP&A or corporate finance experience or recent graduate selected for the Trustmark Development Associate role.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills for management interactions.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze data and translate into action.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Experience with Microsoft apps: Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, Word, VBA.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and build stakeholder relationships.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of OBIEE, Power BI, Cognos or BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage financial models to support forecasting and budgeting.
• Prepare monthly business reviews with actionable commentary.
• Automate and improve financial processes and reporting using Excel, Power BI, OBIEE, or FP tools.
• Track KPIs, develop dashboards, and deliver analyses to influence decisions.
• Perform extra duties as assigned.
• Monitor and forecast KPIs, develop dashboards, and deliver analyses for senior management.
• Develop materials for annual budget and multi-year strategy discussions.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
