Job summary

Jobot is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a fast-growing construction organization, acting as a bridge between operations and finance in a PE environment. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while building models to forecast revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.

You'll analyze monthly performance, explain variances, evaluate project profitability, and prepare executive dashboards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
• Construction, engineering, contractor, or project-based industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and job costing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience building financial models and analyzing large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop financial models to forecast revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.
• Analyze monthly financial performance and explain budget variances.
• Evaluate project profitability, gross margins, and operational performance.
• Prepare executive-level financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
• Assist with backlog, pipeline, and revenue forecasting.
• Perform scenario analysis and business case modeling for strategic initiatives.
• Partner with operations, accounting, and leadership to provide financial insights.
• Help automate reporting processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
