Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Business Planning Financial Analyst to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with leadership to drive strategic financial decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance Business Partners and cross-functional teams to improve processes, reporting, and overall financial performance. A strong background in financial modelling and procurement systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics or related work experience.
• 3 - 5 + years of financial planning and business analyst experience with strong administrative skills.
• Expertise in finance best practices and ability to explain fundamentals to individuals at all levels within the organization including directors and executive leadership.
• Hands-on experience with creating and modelling financial statements.
• Analytical skills including financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct the organization’s financial processes that support planning, reporting, budgeting, purchase orders and accruals.
• Collaborate with managers and Finance Business Partners on budgets and projections with clear documentation.
• Analyze financial variances for projections and budgeting.
• Enhance reporting tools and support negotiations with key partners.
• Support long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting to leadership.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical financial support as needed.
