Key responsibilities include variance analysis, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and identifying insights that inform business decisions.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role partners with Finance, Accounting, Corporate Development, and executive leadership. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with large financial datasets, business intelligence tools, and AI-assisted workflows are important for delivering accurate financial analysis and actionable recommendations.

What You'll Do
  • Own financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting across multiple business lines and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models that support business planning, performance evaluation, and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with Accounting and leadership teams to analyze monthly financial close results, evaluate financial performance, and communicate key variances.
  • Prepare board-ready financial reports and translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) through financial due diligence, integration modeling, synergy tracking, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards, sensitivity analyses, and operational reports to monitor revenue, margins, and operating profit.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, evaluate business outcomes, and support strategic recommendations.
  • Work with Finance, Accounting, Corporate Development, and executive stakeholders to support financial planning and business initiatives.
  • Use AI tools as part of regular analytical workflows to accelerate financial analysis, model development, and reporting.
Qualifications

Required Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including any combination of strategic finance, corporate finance, corporate development, or investment banking.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, high-accountability environments with changing priorities and significant executive visibility.
  • Experience analyzing large financial and operational datasets using internal reporting systems, third-party reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.

Required Skills

  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and analytical capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and a strong preference for Excel as a primary financial analysis and modeling tool, while recognizing Google Sheets as a collaboration tool.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, comfort with financial calculations, and the ability to work confidently with quantitative information.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and translate findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency with large datasets, internal and third-party reporting systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to communicate financial analysis and recommendations effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Comfort using AI tools regularly to improve analytical efficiency, accelerate workflows, and support work deliverables.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, manage shifting priorities, and deliver high-quality financial analysis in a demanding business environment.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% of premiums covered for full-time employees and 70% covered for dependents.
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO) and sick leave, plus 14 company holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a 100% employer match on contributions up to 4% and immediate vesting.
  • Competitive parental leave for all parents.
  • $1,000 remote workspace setup subsidy.
