Job summary

Confidential Company, a leading alternative investment manager, seeks an FP&A Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team in New York. Partner with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, strategic initiatives, and portfolio analytics in a highly analytical investment management environment.

This role offers broad exposure to corporate finance, business strategy, financial modeling, and executive-level decision support for early-career finance professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
  • Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized.
  • Experience with AI tools in Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Exposure to alternative investments preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  • Analyze financing activities, capital structure, liquidity, and balance sheet optimization initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning efforts, including business initiatives and new product evaluations.
  • Prepare portfolio, fund, and financial analytics for senior management, investors, and Board reporting.
  • Develop presentations and analytical materials for internal leadership and external financing partners.
  • Monitor business performance and provide actionable insights through ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Partner with investment, finance, product, and senior management teams on strategic projects and ongoing financial reporting.
  • Assist with competitive analysis, industry research, and market trend reporting.

A leading alternative investment manager, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, strategic initiatives, capital structure analysis, and portfolio analytics within a highly analytical investment management environment.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools within Microsoft Office to improve productivity and workflow efficiency is a plus.
  • Exposure to alternative investments, private markets, asset management, or investment products is preferred but not required.

Compensation:

$100,000-$120,000 + 15-20% bonus, based on experience
