  • Drive Production Cost & COGS Analysis
    • Own forecasting and analysis of production costs across vineyard, winemaking, bottling, and finished goods.
    • Develop deep insight into Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), standard costing methodologies, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances.
    • Analyze cost drivers, identify opportunities for efficiency, and provide recommendations that improve gross margin performance.
    • Partner closely with Winemaking, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting to ensure accurate inventory costing and financial reporting.
  • Provide Financial Insights
    • Build financial models supporting pricing, product mix, SKU rationalization, capital investments, vineyard development, and new product launches.
    • Prepare monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, board materials, and executive presentations.
    • Translate financial data into meaningful business recommendations that influence operational and strategic decisions.

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Power BI or similar planning and reporting systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
