Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a Machine Setup Technician in Rome City, Indiana. The role offers a four-day work week (Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) with Fridays–Sundays off and a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

You will set up production equipment, install tooling, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality across operations. Ideal candidates have machine setup or production equipment experience, with training provided on our specific equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous machine setup, tooling change, die change, or production equipment experience.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or similar measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up production equipment for scheduled jobs.
• Install and adjust tooling, applicators, and dies.
• Perform tooling and die changes to support production.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as needed.
• Read and follow work instructions, specifications, and setup documentation.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify quality and machine settings.
• Enter and adjust machine settings using basic computer systems.
• Monitor equipment to ensure quality and production standards are met.
• Follow all safety procedures including lockout tagout requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to keep operations running efficiently.
