McGrath Chevyland in Cedar Rapids is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair vehicles. The role features a four-day workweek and PTO starting Day 1, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

You will use diagnostic tools and GM service information to deliver high-quality repairs, collaborating with Service Advisors and parts staff while maintaining safety and dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with electrical, engine, braking, steering and suspension systems.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computerized vehicle systems.
• Perform engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC repairs.
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns and identify necessary repairs.
• Complete maintenance to manufacturer specs and dealership standards.
• Document findings, communicate results with advisors and parts dept.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and adhere to procedures.
