Job Description

The candidate should be able to perform all supervisor duties and be in charge of the department in the absence of the Kitchen Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  1. Master all kitchen stations, including AM and PM shifts. Prepare closing paperwork and perform duties in the absence of the Kitchen Supervisor.
  2. Supervise all culinary stations.
  3. Control quality and consistency of all food served.
  4. Ensure stations are set for service 15 minutes prior to start.
  5. Ensure all necessary food supplies are available in a timely manner.
  6. Assist in controlling food costs.
  7. Learn all menu items produced by assigned stations.
Qualifications
  • Basic knife skills required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel or resort experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day.
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
