Job Description

Greet and seat guests according to Omni Hotels' service standards. Promote hotel services enthusiastically to both hotel and local guests.

Host pays $16.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet and invite Riverwalk patrons to dine in the restaurant.
• Welcome guests with a pleasant smile and provide superior customer service.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and providing menus.
• Answer phones and record reservations according to MOS standards.
• Manage outside high-volume areas effectively.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a pleasant day.
• Assist with service operations as needed.
• Maintain full familiarity with menus.

Qualifications

• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior host experience preferred.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and handle objects weighing up to 10 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid alcohol training (TABC) and food handler certifications.
