Fountain Maintenance & Installation Specialist

Join us as a Fountain Maintenance & Installation Specialist at The Pond Guy, a leader in pond, lake, and water garden products. We value precision, safety, and customer satisfaction, and seek mechanically inclined, self-motivated individuals eager to solve field problems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Completing service calls and leading pond/lake equipment system installations
  • Preparing pond sites for equipment, including excavation and landscaping
  • Communicating with clients about pond system status and maintenance needs
  • Maintaining accurate electronic service notes and reports
  • Conducting vehicle, equipment, and inventory audits
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining shop cleanliness
  • Managing daily routes and supervising team members
  • Mentoring technicians and analyzing service data for improvements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years in technical and mechanical maintenance
  • 5+ years electrical experience
  • 3-5 years management or leadership experience
  • Proficiency with computers and excellent communication skills
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean record
  • Customer service and sales experience preferred; heavy machinery experience a plus

Physical ability to work in various weather conditions, lift packages up to 150 lbs, and perform manual tasks is essential.

Availability & Compensation:

  • Year-round position with seasonal extended hours, primarily 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday
