Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection's Grand Canyon South Rim is hiring a Fountain Attendant Lead to deliver fast, friendly guest service, take, assemble, package, and deliver orders in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, year-round position pays $16.80 per hour with a typical 40-hour week, weekend/evening/holiday shifts. The role includes benefits, housing opportunities, and plenty of growth in a park-rich hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous fast food or food service experience.
• Good verbal communication skills; convey instructions clearly.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Courteously interact with guests.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Operate cash register to company standard.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests according to company standards.
• Assist with inventory and orders for Bright Angel Fountain supplies.
• Complete opening and closing side duties as instructed.
• Ensure sanitation procedures are followed and maintained.
• Stock ice cream, soda and other items as necessary.
• Lead café attendants in stocking, cleaning and guest service tasks.
• Communicate stock levels or issues to management.
• Train associates on barista equipment and sandwich press.
• Adhere to safety and risk management policies.
• Operate cash register and handle funds per policy.
• Wear PPE and crosstrain for Attendant/Cashier duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
