Job summary

S.E.S Global Inc. in Eastland, Texas is seeking a Foundry Technician to support safe and efficient foundry operations. You will operate equipment, prepare materials, assist with casting and finishing, inspect parts, and help with basic maintenance.

The ideal candidate has strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to recognize electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic issues. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, experience in foundry/manufacturing preferred, and ability to read

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in foundry, manufacturing, fabrication, machining, maintenance, or industrial production preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, lifting devices, and production equipment safely.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to recognize common machine problems such as vibration, noise, overheating, misalignment, worn belts, bearing noise, and lubrication issues.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, production tickets, and inspection requirements.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate foundry equipment and tools safely per instructions.
• Prepare molds, cores, materials, and areas for casting.
• Assist with pouring, shakeout, grinding, cleaning, and finishing.
• Inspect parts for defects and report quality concerns.
• Monitor equipment for abnormal conditions.
• Assist maintenance with checks, troubleshooting, repairs, and return-to-service.
• Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, hoists, forklifts, and shop equipment safely.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow PPE and safety requirements.
