Job summary

New Tech Global Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to safely operate large power equipment and assist in core making, molding, and casting processes. The role involves handling molten metal, pouring into molds, and performing finish work on castings.

The position requires 1+ years of cross-area experience or on-the-job training, willingness to work in extreme conditions, and adherence to safety policies. Overtime on Fridays is common in this DAY SHIFT role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in two or more listed areas; on-the-job training available.
• Forklift, overhead crane or frontend loader experience preferred.
• Vision corrected to 20/20.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must wear PPE (hard hat, gloves, face mask, boots).
• Able to work in extreme temperatures, noise, dust and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large power equipment and machine tools.
• Core making - form internal surfaces of castings.
• Mold making - form external surfaces of castings.
• Mold closing - assemble cores and molds into complete assemblies.
• Melting - prepare molten metal and adjust chemistry/temperature.
• Pouring - transfer molten metal into mold cavities.
• Shakeout - remove core/mold sand and reclaim sand.
• Casting cleaning - remove gates and defects; inspect and repair castings.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and loaders as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Support casting operations across foundry departments.
• Assist with sand reclamation, pattern storage, and casting touch-ups.
