Job summary

KSB GIW, Inc. in Grovetown, GA, is seeking a Simulation Specialist Manufacturing Engineer to lead casting simulations and optimize foundry operations. You will work across pattern-making, melting, pouring, heat treating, and machining to improve quality and efficiency.

This role offers exposure to a global organization and career growth within Manufacturing Engineering. A bachelor’s in engineering with 2+ years in manufacturing and solidification software experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in MAGMAsoft, ProCAST, SOLIDCast, or FLOW-3D CAST for solidification simulations.
• Knowledge of foundry, heat treatment, machining and assembly processes; lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and analyze filling, solidification, and stress simulations.
• Interpret and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Develop simulation strategies to support new product development and continuous improvement.
• Validate and update work instructions based on simulations and shop floor results.
• Review and improve foundry processes for new and legacy products.
• Lead cross-functional root-cause analysis efforts.
