You will temperature-check molten iron, collect test samples, and record production data while maintaining a clean, organized workstation. Training is provided; safety and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Move and position molds using physical strength.
• Use hoists to place/remove jackets and weights on molds.
• Prepare molds with correct weight and jacket setup for pouring.
• Take temperatures of molten iron and record data.
• Take and pour test samples from the ladle stream.
• Inspect hoists and equipment for safe operation.
• Follow work orders and job process instructions.
• Record production data on computer and keep area organized.
