Job summary

PsiQuantum is building the world's first commercially viable quantum computer powered by silicon photonics. In this Foundry Operations role you will support day-to-day foundry activities, wafer logistics, inspection, data upload, inventory tracking, documentation, and office/lab coordination.

The position is hands-on, requiring attention to detail and clear communication across multiple systems and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, lab, manufacturing, logistics, or technical operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Comfortable handling wafers, wafer carriers, and documentation packages.
• Ability to use inspection tools and upload files to digital records.
• Familiarity with wafer tracking or MES/workflow systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability and documentation discipline.
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support wafer handling activities, including mapping, transfers, and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate WIP and wafer/FOSB inventory records and tracking updates.
• Update tool status and WIP reports twice daily and share updates with the team.
• Attend operations meetings, take notes, and distribute action items and status updates.
• Coordinate wafer and package logistics, shipments, and contact information.
• Support lab, office, and partner-site operations and data collection activities.
• Manage a dedicated lab for wafer cryogenic testing and related tasks.
• Inspect wafers using optical microscopy and upload images and records for engineers.
• Maintain an orderly office and restock supplies for regional offices.
