Job summary

Intel Corporation seeks an experienced Module Development Engineer to lead scientific research for innovative device architectures and to oversee experimental design, execution, and analysis of processes in advanced semiconductor technology.

You will collaborate across functions, spearhead IP development, and drive technology transfer to manufacturing. A strong background in materials science or chemical engineering and hands-on lab work is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR PhD with 1+ years of experience in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field with a focus on hands-on experimental research.
• Preferred qualifications include 4+ years semiconductor industry experience in processing, fabrication, or nanotechnology; experience with wet etch; expertise in chemical processing and development; experience leading projects and cross-functional teams; knowledge of process control systems, variability, and statistics; external foundry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications for the process.
• Participate in the development of intellectual property.
• Integrate steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
• Ramp to manufacturing volumes and transfer technology to manufacturing via Copy Exactly Methodology.
