Job summary

Pentair plc in Ashland, OH is seeking a Foundry Maintenance Technician on 1st shift. You will diagnose complex issues, fabricate parts, and support continuous operations through preventive maintenance, emergency response, and equipment installations.

You will work with lathes and other shop tools, interpret blueprints, and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to minimize downtime. The role demands safety, physical capability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced foundry

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s Card in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience; 4+ years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of high or low voltage electrical work preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, written specifications, charts, and tables.
• Able to work in hot, dusty, noisy environments and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and fabrication of foundry equipment.
• Set up, operate, and fabricate parts using shop tools to support production.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency service calls and support continuous operations.
