Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive mechanical and electrical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive maintenance leadership in a machining/industrial setting.
• Commitment to learning new technology and reducing downtime.
• Strong knowledge and application of safety rules and regulations.
• Experience implementing TPM or reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced foundry environment.
• Ability to interact positively with employees, managers and contractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with department supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the first-shift maintenance team and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown responses.
• Assign and track work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality.
• Review and ensure accuracy of completed work orders.
• Motivate the team to meet performance targets.
• Coordinate with production and engineering to minimize downtime and optimize processes.
• Manage spare parts and maintain budget compliance for maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety practices are followed across all tasks.
• Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance to the team.
• Monitor downtime, initiate repairs, and implement equipment modifications as needed.
• Support design and installation of new equipment or modifications.
