Job summary

MetalTek International is seeking a hands-on Die Services/Materials role in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include supplying dies and die components to the foundry, assembling die kits, and maintaining storage areas.

The candidate inspects dies and related equipment, documents findings, and assists with repairs and coatings upon return from the foundry. The role requires operating forklift equipment, knowledge of foundry practices, data entry in MAPICS, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of WC foundry practices and equipment.
• Familiarity with MAPICS system for lookup and records.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with shot blasting and welding is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supply dies and die components to foundry in good condition.
• Prepare die kits per job routing and safety standards.
• Inspect dies and equipment, record findings, assist in repairs.
• Move dies and kits to foundries using forklift and lifting equipment.
• Inspect, clean and coat dies returning to storage and update inventory.
