Job summary

Intel Manufacturing Foundry Cloud Services (imFCS) seeks a Cloud Application Development Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native apps powering semiconductor manufacturing, engineering automation, and AI-driven factory operations.

You will build scalable, secure platforms, lead CI/CD pipelines, work across global teams, and contribute to AI-enabled automation, with a hybrid work model and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of software development experience in C#, Python, or similar languages.
• 2+ years of cloud development, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and services for manufacturing and engineering workflows.
• Support 24x7 manufacturing operations through on-call rotations and incident response.
• Design and implement scalable microservices, APIs, and containerization systems using Kubernetes and cloud-native apps.
• Architect secure cloud solutions across application, data, networking, and observability domains.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code; lead DevOps automation.
• Provide technical leadership for contractors and partner development teams across regions.
