Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Foundry Applications Engineer focused on Design Enablement to support RF components and high-speed optical interconnects powering massive GPU clusters and hyperscale data centers.

You will bridge customers' design and operations teams with ST’s internal teams, lead design programs from inception to tape-out, and stay current with industry trends in semiconductor/photonics. A BSEE and 10+ years in design or applications engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Intersection of light and silicon with product development in high-speed optics, SiGe BiCMOS, or RF.
• BSEE and 10+ years in design, process development or applications engineering.
• Experience with data center architectures and optical interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and on-boarding to ramp-up foundry customers’ design teams on ST process platforms.
• Provide timely and effective support to technical issues or customer questions regarding ST PDK and IP/library deliveries for simulation, layout, extraction, reliability.
• Lead regular technical calls with customer and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of design programs from inception to tape-out.
