Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Foundry Applications Engineer focused on Design Enablement to enable next-generation RF and optical interconnect technologies. You will bridge customers’ design teams with ST’s process platforms, supporting high-speed RF front ends, SiGe BiCMOS processes, and photonics references.

The role involves collaboration across marketing, sales, R&D, and internal teams, with emphasis on PDK/IP development, documentation, and technical leadership in fast-paced data-center

Qualifications

• Experience with 100G/200G+ per-lane electrical interfaces, TIAs, and drivers.
• Understanding of SiGe HBT physics for ultra-high-speed signaling.
• Familiarity with RF front end ICs, beamformers, RADAR or related RF components.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and onboarding to ramp-up foundry customers’ design teams on ST process platforms.
• Provide timely and effective support to technical issues or customer questions regarding ST PDK and IP/library deliveries for simulation, layout, extraction, reliability.
• Enhance PDK documentation, develop application notes and best practices to be shared with customers and internal teams.
• Lead regular technical calls with customer and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of design programs from inception to tape-out and ramp-up.
• Participate in definition of photonic/electronic reference designs and concept boards.
