Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking the founding VP of Engineering to lead the Workforce Management platform from design to GA and beyond. You will stand up the engineering organization, set delivery cadence and quality, and be accountable for on-time production delivery.

You will partner with architecture, Contact Center engineering, product stakeholders, and the program office to translate strategy into execution, establish SLOs, observability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS.
• 7+ years in engineering leadership.
• Proven track record leading global engineering teams across geographies.
• Deep knowledge of workforce management and contact centers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery for the WFM platform's initial GA and roadmap.
• Build and lead the WFM engineering organization: hire, structure, manage teams.
• Partner with architecture to translate target architecture into execution.
• Ensure services have SLOs, observability, security, and production readiness.
• Establish engineering standards for cloud-native development and event-driven systems.
• Report delivery status and risks to senior leadership.
• Represent WFM engineering in cross-program planning with Contact Center teams.
• Foster ownership, technical excellence, and measurable business impact.
