Founding UX Designer

Overview

Scorecard AI is the leading evaluation and testing platform for teams building with Large Language Models (LLMs). We work with some of the best AI teams in the world—helping them ship faster, more reliable products by making evaluation effortless and deeply insightful.

Design is central to that mission, and we’re looking for our first full-time UX designer to lead product design at Scorecard. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a product already in use by cutting-edge teams, and shape how the next generation of AI tools are evaluated, optimized and shipped.

You’ll be responsible for core product experiences—how users create experiments, interpret results, and take action. You’ll lead the development of our design system, contribute to our visual identity, and raise the quality of every interaction. You’ll have the trust and support to define patterns and establish product standards. As a founding user experience designer, you’ll work directly with customers to refine how our platform feels and flows and stand up our team’s user research practice.

We’ve already built a thoughtful foundation: a clean, modern UI, strong engineering craft, and a team that values great design. But much is still to be defined—and that’s where you come in. You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership, and have real influence on everything from strategy to shipping.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 4+ years of experience designing product experiences and shipping high-quality, intuitive products (preferably in the b2b or enterprise software spaces)
• Brings strong systems thinking and visual craft
• Has worked on complex, technical tools or developer platforms
• Is passionate about designing products that tell compelling stories through data visualization
• Can take a product experience from 0 → 1, then iterate it toward excellence
• Communicates clearly and collaborates with confidence
• [Bonus] Has experience with AI/LLMs, or React component libraries like ShadCN
