Founding Supply Chain Lead, Special Projects Division

The Role

You will be a founding member of Hadrian’s new Special Projects division, working directly with the CEO and engineering leadership. Your primary focus will be sourcing and vendor management for technical components and materials, supporting both product development and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for raw materials, machined parts, and critical components.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards with suppliers while maintaining strong relationships.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical alignment across the supply chain.
• Manage procurement timelines, supplier performance, and delivery schedules.
• Support quality assurance and supplier conformance, with potential travel to vendor or client sites.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and supply chain dynamics.
• Basic engineering knowledge supporting sourcing of technical components.
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships and meeting delivery goals.
• Support for fast-paced R&D efforts with evolving requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• Knowledge of DFM and GD&T principles.
• Experience sourcing for aerospace, automotive, or similar industries.
• Proven ability to work with diverse suppliers.
• Leadership or consulting experience in high-performance manufacturing environments.
