Job summary

Clipbook in the United States is seeking a backend/AI systems engineer to help scale our platform that ingests, summarizes, and surfaces insights from news and data in real time. You will design core services, deploy AI features, and ensure reliability, security, and performance at scale.

The role requires 3+ years building production systems, plus hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, Python/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and scaling production systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud infra, containers, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills and product focus.

Responsibilities

• Architect & build core systems and drive feature development end-to-end.
• Integrate AI into real-world workflows.
• Put LLMs and ML models into production for real workflows: RAG pipelines, embeddings, prompt execution, agentic systems, fine-tuned models.
• Design systems that scale and ensure reliability, security, and a seamless customer experience.
• Develop performant APIs and services that power the product end-to-end.
