Job summary

Lilly TuneLab is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to turn advanced AI models into a scalable SaaS workflow for biotech startups. You will own the product end‑to‑end, shaping frontend, backend, data, and integrations with a strong emphasis on reliability and usability.

You will work closely with product, design, and data science to drive architecture decisions, mentor peers, and maintain shipping velocity in a demanding enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with SaaS products used by real customers.
• Experience as a senior or staff IC on a small team beyond a large team.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities

• Build the product end‑to‑end for TuneLab SaaS platform.
• Own product surfaces end-to-end—frontend, backend, data, integrations.
• Architect the application layer wrapping AI models into workflows for customers.
• Make pragmatic technology decisions prioritizing speed and quality.
• Stay hands‑on; this is a build role, not a review role.
• Set engineering bar for code review, testing, and release processes.
