Reflow AI Inc. (DBA Wayside) is seeking a Software Engineer to join the founding team in New York City. You will own features end-to-end using Next.js and TypeScript, shipping both backend and frontend work and self-hosting on AWS to deliver a world-class product experience.

You will collaborate with customers to shape the product roadmap, build AI agents that transform payroll and compliance operations, and drive architectural decisions as part of a seed-stage startup.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional software development experience with TypeScript and Next.js.
• Experience building production-grade web applications with modern frameworks.
• Familiarity with deploying on AWS and building AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ship backend and user-facing features end-to-end using Next.js and TypeScript, self-hosting on AWS to deliver a world-class product experience.
• Engage directly with customers to demo features, collect feedback, and support users to ensure the product meets real-world operational needs.
• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows for client support and payroll entry, contributing to the core product roadmap and strategy.
