Job summary

CentrAlign AI is seeking a founding engineer to build and ship complete systems independently. You will own architecture, implementation, and product thinking, tackling real customer problems in a fast-moving AI company.

You’ll work on backend infrastructure, APIs, LLMs, AI agents, and browser automation, solving complex problems from first principles and delivering end-to-end solutions while engaging directly with customers.

• Your work spans architecture, implementation, and product thinking as you tackle real customer problems
• You'll operate in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve and adapt

• Backend infrastructure, APIs, and systems that power AI applications
• LLMs, AI agents, browser automation, and computer use technologies
• Technical problems that require deep reasoning rather than straightforward integration work
• Debugging complex systems and solving problems from first principles

What we're looking for:

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering
• Proven ability to independently conceive, build and deploy complete systems end-to-end
• Experience with or strong genuine interest in LLMs, AI agents, browser automation, computer use, backend infrastructure, APIs, or similar domains
• Comfort operating effectively when product requirements shift and change
• Engineering mindset that reasons through difficult technical challenges rather than treating development as API composition
• Skilled debugging and problem-solving approach
• High sense of ownership and readiness to work across multiple dimensions—from system design through hands-on coding, product strategy, and direct engagement with customer needs
