Job summary

CerberusAI is building an agentic AI security platform. We are hiring a founding software engineer to help scale our security infrastructure and execute the product roadmap for a new cybersecurity framework anchored in identity and behavior analysis.

You will design sensors, pipelines, and systems to process agent interaction events at massive scale, build UI/UX for security engineers and executives, and collaborate closely with founders and customers to deploy the platform with enterprise

Qualifications

• Background with Kubernetes, Terraform, and GCP.
• Experience in backend microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience training and deploying AI/ML systems.
• Frontend design and development skills a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration with founders, customers, and cross-functional partners.
• Bachelor’s or advanced CS degree or equivalent.

We integrate into existing network infrastructure and AI tools to monitor agent behavior and intent detect compromised and misaligned agents before they can do serious damage.

Role Description We're hiring a founding software engineer to help us build out and scale our agentic AI cybersecurity platform! We're about to launch our first enterprise deployment and have several more in the pipeline. We're looking for a motivated founding software engineer to help develop and execute the product roadmap for a new cybersecurity framework anchored in identity and behavioral analysis.

You will:

• Develop sensors, pipelines, and systems to process agent interaction events at massive scale
• Build and maintain infrastructure for large scale event processing and analytics
• Build UI/UX for security engineers and executives to monitor and address threats
• Design, deploy, and scale AI/ML systems and pipelines evaluating LLM and MCP data to identify threats
• Directly support deployments with enterprise customers

Qualifications

• Background working with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform
• Background in backend microservices, web development, distributed systems, event processing frameworks, and queueing systems like Apache Kafka
• Experience training, evaluating, and deploying AI/ML systems, especially in areas like anomaly detection
• Frontend design and development skills are a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with founders, customers, and cross-functional partners.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
