Job summary

SOAProjects, Inc. is seeking a founding accounting leader in Santa Clara to build and scale the finance function for a fabless semiconductor and AI infrastructure company.

You will own revenue recognition under ASC 606, manage cost accounting for wafer-based operations, and lead audits and spin-off clean-up, while running monthly close in SAP and aligning with planning. This hands-on, onsite role requires startup experience, strategic vision, and the ability to own both execution and policy as

Qualifications

• Director-level accounting leadership in semiconductor or networking environments.
• Strong ASC 606 revenue recognition and technical accounting skills.
• Cost accounting including wafer cost, standard costing and inventory for fabless models.
• Audit experience with public accounting or managing external audits.
• Experience with SAP; startup experience a plus.
• Comfortable in an early-stage, hands-on environment with ownership of strategy and execution.
• Onsite in Santa Clara five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead Revenue Recognition & Revenue Operations as top priority.
• Own cost accounting for fabless semiconductor model and inventory valuation.
• Support GAAP audit items and technical accounting memos.
• Lead spin-off clean-up work and stock-based compensation reporting.
• Run monthly close and financial reporting in SAP; align with planning.
