Job description

Founding Sales & Ops Associate (Contract, High-Growth Strategy Execution Firm)

We are a fast-growing, boutique strategy execution consultancy at a critical inflection point. We partner with public and private sector clients on high-impact transformation, change, and growth implementation initiatives. As we scale in 2025, we're looking for a founding Sales & Operations Associate to directly support the CEO in growing our business — both in the federal government and commercial sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with a consulting or law firm background who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to be deeply involved in building the foundation of a firm.

What You'll Do
  1. Sales Enablement & Business Development Support
    • Research and segment target markets (both federal and commercial)
    • Coordinate outreach campaigns, respond to inbound inquiries
    • Draft and refine capability statements, proposals, and decks
    • Manage and track follow-ups, emails, and connections on behalf of the CEO
  2. Operations & Infrastructure
    • Organize internal systems for proposals, contracts, templates, and delivery
    • Maintain up-to-date content for the firm’s website and LinkedIn campaigns
  3. Brand & Strategic Marketing
    • Collaborate on the firm's brand refresh, including standard decks and key messaging
    • Assist with the launch of our framework and training offerings
    • Draft LinkedIn posts, marketing content, or case summaries
  4. CEO Support
    • Help prioritize tasks, meetings, and proposals in flight
    • Serve as a thought partner in weekly strategy sessions
    • Take initiative to close loops, track deliverables, and move projects forward
Who You Are
  1. 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, law, or related client-facing role
  2. Excellent writer and communicator, especially in business language
  3. Extremely organized, with strong initiative and follow-through
  4. Skilled at independently researching, prioritizing, and executing
  5. Able to juggle ambiguity and short-term needs with long-term structure
  6. Comfortable with working in a high-accountability, low-ego environment
  7. Interested in building something from the ground up
Bonus Points For
  • Federal government strategy or business development experience
  • Familiarity with responding to RFIs/RFPs
  • Experience supporting or running proposal development in a firm setting
  • Strong design/editing skills in PowerPoint, MS Word, Canva, or similar
Why Join Now

  • You’ll get a front-row seat into high-level strategic and client development conversations
  • Your contributions will directly shape the firm’s brand, operations, and success
Qualifications
Required:
  • 2–5 years of professional experience, ideally in management consulting, professional services, or a top-tier law firm
  • Proven ability to manage complex, fast-moving projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong written communication and business writing skills — proposals, emails, decks
  • Highly organized, with experience juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Confident using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, MS TEAMS, and CRM/sales tools
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and external partners
  • Self-starter with a bias for action and outcomes
