Job summary

Jobtailor in New York is seeking a product manager to own discovery, define requirements, and guide AI-powered consumer products from concept to launch. You will collaborate with design, engineering, and research teams to align on progress and metrics.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of B2C product experience, comfort building PM processes from scratch, and a strong focus on user trust and model behavior. Startup familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience owning B2C/prosumer products end to end.
• Ability to work without established PM processes and build structure that meaningfully improves outcomes.
• Deep understanding of AI-powered products, including model limitations, tradeoffs, and user trust implications.
• Strong collaboration with designers, engineers, and researchers to drive alignment and execution.
• High ownership mindset with a bias toward action, learning, and iteration.
• Bonus: Experience as an early or first PM at a startup.
• Bonus: Experience working closely with ML or research teams.
