Job description

Attune is building a flagship Agentic Voice platform for healthcare. We're now extending it into a new product line: a revenue cycle orchestrator that gives RCM teams a human-in-the-loop portal to approve, deny, and kick off workflows across the claims lifecycle. Raw claims files come in; knowledge bases, RAG, and EHR/payor integrations enrich them; and the actions that come out include automated payor calls, member outreach, and appeal packet assembly.

We need a founding product leader who can turn a broad problem space and one demanding set of stakeholders into a shippable product—someone confident in front of customers, fluent enough in healthcare to hold a real conversation about EHR workflows and billing, and comfortable owning outcomes rather than tickets.

You'll thrive here if you can set big goals for a small engineering team, prototype to test hypotheses quickly, and confidently push back when scope, quality, or capacity are in tension.

What you'll do
  • Own the RCM orchestration product end to end—the human-in-the-loop portal, workflow orchestration, claims ingestion, and the voice/agentic actions that dogfood Attune's own APIs.
  • Translate the RCM domain into clear, sequenced product scope. Translate denial workflows, appeals, eligibility, and payor interactions into acceptance criteria engineers can build against independently.
  • Own the external relationship. Lead discovery, demos, and readouts; be the credible face of the product to healthcare operators and their leadership.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly. With a lean pod and a wide surface area, decide what comes first and why—and defend the sequence when business pressure pushes against it.
  • Prototype and validate scrappily. Turn fuzzy requests into clickable flows, lightweight prototypes, or thin vertical slices before committing engineering weeks.
  • Define success metrics that matter in RCM—cycle time, touch rate, overturn/recovery, human-approval quality—and instrument the product to track them.
  • Partner with Engineering. Break scope into milestones with clear go/no-go gates, align on architecture trade-offs, keep the pod unblocked, and protect focus.
The problems you'll help solve
  • Domain into product: RCM is dense—denial reason codes, appeal timelines, eligibility, EOBs, coordination of benefits. How do we turn that into workflows a human can supervise at a glance?
  • Human-in-the-loop by design: what does an RCM operator need to see to confidently approve, deny, or kick off an action—and how do we capture that judgment as signal?
  • Complex tech surface area: claims file ingestion, RAG/knowledge bases, EHR and payor-portal integration, agentic voice actions, HIPAA/PHI—stitched into one coherent workflow product.
  • Capacity vs. opportunity: many possible workflows, one founding pod. What earns a place on the roadmap, and what waits?
What will make you successful here
  • Credible in healthcare: you can talk to operators and clinical/billing leaders without a translator, and they trust you.
  • Critical thinker with common sense; asks "why?" and pressure-tests assumptions—including your own.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity; forges a path through experiments and validation points rather than waiting for certainty.
  • Vision plus execution: can paint where the product goes and also land the next two sprints.
  • Separates business pressure from product decisions and keeps the quality bar high.
  • Excellent written communication: PRDs, decision memos, customer one-pagers, crisp acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, including platform- or workflow-level products others build on.
  • Healthcare fluency is required: direct experience shipping products that integrate with EHRs (Epic/Cerner, or integration layers like Redox) and an understanding of healthcare data (HIPAA, PHI, BAAs). RCM/revenue-cycle or medical-billing domain experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical fluency: can read API docs, reason about integration trade-offs, and discuss LLM/RAG, latency/cost, and orchestration trade-offs with engineers.
  • Strong stakeholder management in sales-led or services-heavy environments; confident presenting to executives and operational leaders.
  • Comfortable with POC-level prototyping (Figma, clickable flows, light scripting or Postman).
  • Hands-on with product analytics and defining KPIs; comfort with SQL and basic dashboarding.
Nice to have
  • Direct RCM experience: denials/appeals, eligibility, clearinghouses, 835/837 claims files, payor portals.
  • Familiarity with contact-center or agentic voice workflows and when to blend deterministic orchestration with LLMs.
  • Experience building a product against a single design-partner or funded engagement while keeping it generalizable.
