AgentMail is seeking a Founding Product Engineer to shape the early product experience for developers. You will own products from vague customer problems to usable, production-ready solutions, working across polished frontend experiences, APIs, backend services, and data models.

You’ll talk directly to customers, interview developers, and translate insights into concrete product decisions. Autonomy and high ownership are core.

Qualifications

• Exceptional frontend engineer with strong product and design instincts.
• Strong backend prowess; comfortable with APIs, databases, queues, and distributed systems.
• Ability to turn vague customer problems into products with or without a detailed spec.

Responsibilities

• Build products end-to-end across frontend, APIs, backend, data models, and infra.
• Talk to customers; interview developers and study usage data to find pain points.
• Turn customer problems into viable products with clear value.
• Shape the developer experience from signup to production-ready features.
• Prototype quickly by turning ideas into usable demos for customers.
• Attend to product design and interaction details; influence UX decisions.
• Help define the product engineering culture as one of the early engineers.
