# Founding Principal Front-End EngineerThis is not a front-end job. It is the chance to own every pixel, every interaction, and every millisecond of rendering performance for a platform that will serve millions of founders. We are seeking a Founding Principal Front-End Engineer to join our braintrust as the technical authority for everything a user sees, touches, taps, and speaks to. You know Flutter/Dart and Next.js not just well, but at the level where you have opinions about rendering pipelines, widget tree optimization, hydration strategies, and the tradeoffs between server components and client interactivity. You have shipped industry-leading products using both technologies, and you understand when to use which. There are 36.2 million SME founders in the US who need a Digital Co-Founder, and the front-end is where that co-founder comes to life. It is where a founder opens their Owner's Cockpit at 7 AM and sees their entire business in one glance: revenue, compliance deadlines, pending invoices, AI-generated insights, and a Daily Huddle that tells them exactly what matters today. It is where a prospective customer lands on a marketing page and, within seconds, feels the quality and intentionality that separates CR3SCENDO AI from everything else. The front-end is not a layer on top of the product. It is the product. You will own the cross-platform architecture spanning two technology stacks. In Flutter/Dart, you will build the authenticated experience: the Owner's Cockpit, onboarding flows, formation wizards, financial dashboards, compliance calendars, and the conversational interface that connects to our AI voice agent via WebRTC and LiveKit. You will ship native iOS, macOS, and Android applications from a single Flutter codebase, implementing platform-specific polish (Cupertino design touches on Apple, Material on Android) while maintaining a shared component library. State management will be Riverpod-based, with a clean separation between UI, application logic, and data layers. In Next.js, you will own the public-facing marketing site, SEO-optimized landing pages, the PLG widget library, and legal/compliance pages. You will obsess over Core Web Vitals, structured data, server-side rendering, and the kind of technical SEO that makes Google treat our pages as authoritative.Security is a first-class concern in your work, not an afterthought. You will implement certificate pinning for API communication, biometric authentication gates (Face ID, Touch ID) for high-risk actions, secure token storage, and input validation that treats all user input as untrusted. You will build the front-end observability layer: structured error reporting, performance monitoring, and crash analytics that give the team clear signal when something breaks in production. You will design the component library as a fractal system, where small, composable pieces combine into increasingly complex surfaces without becoming brittle or inconsistent. You will work in an AI-native development culture where AI coding tools are part of the daily workflow, not a novelty. You will pair with the Principal UX/UI Designer to translate design intent into pixel-perfect, performant reality, and with the Distinguished Engineer to ensure the front-end integrates seamlessly with the 9+ microservice backend. You will mentor the front-end engineers who join after you, establishing code review standards, performance budgets, accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum), and the architectural patterns that will scale the codebase from its current 90,000+ lines to ten times that without collapsing under its own weight. This is the role for someone who believes that front-end engineering, done at the highest level, is as technically demanding and architecturally significant as any backend or infrastructure challenge. You will not be implementing someone else's designs in a narrow box. You will be defining the entire rendering surface of a category-defining platform, from the first marketing page a visitor sees to the native app a founder uses every morning. Founding team equity. Full ownership of the cross-platform architecture. A seat at the table alongside the CEO, the Distinguished Engineer, and the Principal Designer. If you have been looking for the project that justifies everything you have learned about building world-class front-end experiences, this is it.Full-timePermanentEquity + Compensation (discussed directly with CEO)FlutterDartNext.jsTypeScriptReactTailwind CSSStorybookClaude CodeRiverpod
