Qualifications

• DVM degree and a license in good standing to practice.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong foundation in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

As the Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian, you will be the cornerstone of the hospital, responsible for establishing a gold-standard medical culture, mentoring your team, and driving the business's success as a true owner. • Build a Thriving Practice Culture: You will be the architect of a client-first, collaborative culture, setting the tone for medical excellence and teamwork from day one. In the growing IH-35 corridor between San Antonio and Austin, your standard of care will set Livewell New Braunfels apart from day one.
• Lead and Mentor Your Medical Team: Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of veterinarians and support staff building a hospital culture that attracts top talent and delivers outstanding urgent care to the growing pet-owning communities of New Braunfels and the surrounding IH-35 corridor. You will help build the coverage model that supports extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Drive Medical and Surgical Excellence: Establish the hospital’s standard of care for urgent workups, diagnostics, and surgery, ensuring every patient receives exceptional medicine while mentoring your team in general surgery, dentistry, and evidence-based clinical decision‑making. You'll build a reputation as the trusted veterinary destination for pets across New Braunfels and the surrounding area.
• Partner in Business Ownership: Work directly with your Hospital Manager to manage the hospital's financial performance, making strategic decisions that drive top-line revenue growth and position the hospital as a long‑term community resource.
• Shape the Future of Veterinary Care in New Braunfels: Help establish a purpose‑built urgent care hospital designed to meet the needs of today’s pet owners. With high foot traffic from a Costco‑anchored retail center and direct access to IH‑35, you’ll have the platform to build something that lasts.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a license in good standing to practice.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong foundation in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry. .
