Job summary

MYDENTALWIG in Lancaster, CA is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to lead development of the AI² Platform. You will design and deploy models for ingestion and metabolic predictions, collaborating with biomedical engineers and software teams.

This founding role offers equity, competitive compensation, and the chance to shape a new category of AI-enabled digital health technology, with on-site work and a focus on time-series data and scalable ML pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ML, AI, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Five+ years of professional experience developing ML models in production.
• Experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experience with complex time-series datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models for physiological and behavioral time-series data.
• Develop algorithms to identify ingestion events and model metabolic responses.
• Build predictive models integrating CGMs and health data sources.
• Design scalable data pipelines for training and validation.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into cloud/mobile environments.
• Evaluate model performance using statistical methods.
• Contribute to publications, inventions, and patents where appropriate.
• Support clinical validation studies through data analysis and model refinement.
• Stay current with advances in AI and digital health.
