Job summary

Sam’s Club is opening a brand-new club in Visalia, CA, and seeks friendly, dependable associates to help establish a premier member experience from day one. As a founding Member Specialist, you will greet members, assist with purchases, and ensure a smooth front-end operation at our new location in Visalia.

You will support self-checkout, help members navigate technology, maintain a clean environment, verify memberships, resolve concerns, and promote memberships and services.

Qualifications

• Retail experience including operating front end equipment (cash register).
• Experience with mobile retail applications is a plus.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by greeting members and identifying their needs.
• Process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policy.
• Assist members with self-service technology and checkout processes.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient checkout, entrance, and exit areas.
• Verify memberships, review receipts, and support asset protection procedures.
• Resolve member issues and concerns with professionalism and care.
• Promote Sam’s Club products, services, and memberships.
• Assist with merchandise organization, zoning, and maintaining a member-ready environment.
