Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/ Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician for a brand-new outpatient clinic in Scottsdale, starting February 2027. The role focuses on high-quality diagnostic testing and phlebotomy within a growing lab team.

You will uphold CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA standards and work toward establishing robust laboratory processes, reporting accurate results and supporting patient care in collaboration with the oncology team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology or related field with eligible certification.
• MLS/MT or another approved certification is required.
• Must maintain certification in applicable states (NV/CA rule notes may apply) and have phlebotomy competency.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory operations and testing in a new outpatient clinic.
• Perform high-quality diagnostic testing and phlebotomy for oncology patients.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP and OSHA requirements.
• Act as a department resource and assist with regulatory adherence.
