Job summary

Datalab is seeking a senior marketing leader to own launches, content, and demand generation for our developer‑facing document‑parsing platform. You will build a scalable content engine, ghostwrite in engineer voices, and shape how LLMs see and rank our site, docs, and benchmarks.

You’ll surface measurable outcomes, collaborate with engineers and researchers, and grow the team as the marketing function matures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in marketing, with meaningful time owning content, launches, and demand generation for a technical or developer‑facing product.
• Run launches at a high level with coordinated messaging, assets, press, and community outcomes.
• Built a content program from strategy through published work and personally wrote most of it.
• Owned SEO and paid channels, with numbers on impact and ROI.
• Operated in early‑stage environments where playbooks didn’t exist.
• Comfort with AI tools ( Claude, Cowork ) to streamline work and build content systems.

Responsibilities

• Own model launches, especially open source, creating assets, coordinating posts, and driving measurable outcomes.
• Scale the content engine: tighten cadence, own strategy, and produce developer‑facing and buyer content.
• Ghostwrite in engineers' and researchers' voices, turning the team into a distribution channel.
• Shape site/docs/benchmark content to improve discoverability by models and agents.
• Own demand channels: SEO, paid, landing pages, conversion; manage budget and attribution.
• Arm the sales team with case studies, benchmarks, and decks for live deals.
• Represent the company in communities (Discord, GitHub, conferences) and build speaking/events motion.
