Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is launching Platte Crossing Counseling Center in Commerce City, CO, and seeks a Licensed Therapist or Licensed Psychologist to join as a foundational member of our outpatient clinic.

You will provide intake and assessment services, individual, family, couples, and group therapy, plus recovery-focused supports for diverse clients, with services offered in person and via telehealth based on client needs. This role starts on-site full time.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services for Licensed Therapist or Doctorate in psychology for Licensed Psychologist.
• At least two years of clinical experience providing care including individual, family and/or group therapy.
• Colorado licensure or license transfer with intent to obtain Colorado licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of theories and evidence-based practices in clinical treatment.
• Ability to learn and utilize an electronic health record proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and assessment services, individual, family, couples and group therapy.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans and update as required.
• Coordinate care with internal and external professionals to ensure access to needed services.
• Provide crisis intervention and comprehensive clinical services to improve quality of life.
• Maintain up-to-date billing information and obtain necessary insurance authorizations.
