The successful candidate will manage labor and environmental compliance, draft high-stakes

Qualifikationen

• JD or LL.M. from accredited law school.
• Active Illinois license or ability to obtain promptly.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house manufacturing.
• Expertise in labor and employment law, including union negotiations.
• Strong corporate law and contract management knowledge.
• Familiarity with US environmental compliance regulations.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary legal contact for Manteno plant.
• Advise on labor and employment law matters, unions, employee relations, disputes, and compliance with US/Illinois labor laws.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and corporate documents.
• Provide governance and internal policy compliance guidance.
• Support environmental compliance matters in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with HR on workplace disputes and investigations.
• Manage compliance programs, audits, and investigations.
• Coordinate with external counsel for complex matters.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise leadership.
• Help build the plant's legal function.
