Job summary

DaisyCo, Inc. is launching its Minneapolis location with a founding Lead Technician role. You will lead installations, manage field projects, and help set installation standards while collaborating with the local owner to grow the Minnesota team.

This part-time position offers a path to full-time as the business scales, with strong centralized support, paid training, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of AV, networking, low-voltage, or technology integration experience preferred.
• Experience with lighting, shading, networking/Wi‑Fi, audio/video, home theaters, security, and smart home automation preferred.
• Industry certifications (CEDIA, AVIXA) or Minnesota PLT license preferred.
• Willingness to obtain PLT license with company support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service integrated AV, lighting, shades, networking, cameras, and home automation systems.
• Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and contractors.
• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling, panels, and junction boxes.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, networking, and control systems.
• Interpret project blueprints and system schematics to execute installations accurately.
• Coordinate projects from installation through completion and communicate progress with customers and the Daisy team.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, builders, designers, and trade partners.
• Help establish installation standards and best practices for the Minneapolis branch.
• Mentor and lead future technicians as our team grows.
